At the centre of every successful business is a CEO committed to pushing it forward and making it better; a task that cannot be taken on lightly in today’s competitive economic climate. This is particularly true for the Asia Pacific region of the world. Playing host to more than one third of the world’s largest businesses, the APAC region is a competitive and diverse corporate landscape. This means the demand for business leaders who are willing to take risks and demonstrate innovative thinking is currently at an all-time high.
To celebrate those at the helm of industry in this area, APAC insider is proud and excited to announce the first ever APAC CEO of the Year Awards. These awards were designed with the intention to shine a light on those who possess the ability to take a business to the next level, thanks to their commitment to promoting business of the Year, determination, and innovative approaches.
The APAC CEO of the Year Awards 2022 are open to all CEOs from all industries operating within the Asia Pacific area, including Construction and Engineering, Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals, and many more.
Like all awards hosted by APAC Insider, the APAC CEO of the Year Awards 2022 are judged purely on merit. To ensure this, our in-house research team carefully analyse any information that is available both online and in the public domain. You will also during this stage be given the opportunity to submit any data you believe will be pertinent in the decision making and whilst it is helpful, if you do not have chance to complete the supporting evidence questionnaire we send over, it will not stop you being considered for an award.
By taking part in an APAC Insider Awards programme, you are provided with an ideal way to affirm your status as an industry leader, this can also inspire confidence in your clients, customers, and colleagues that you are providing an award-winning service.
With this in mind, if you are a CEO working within the Asia-Pacific region, or you know of a CEO that you feel is worthy of acknowledgement within the APAC CEO of the Year Awards 2022, then please complete the voting form by clicking ‘nominate’ at the top of the page. If you would like further information on how you can get involved, or our awards process, then please get in touch with the awards programme coordinator Gabrielle Ellis by using the contact details provided.

The team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. The team encourage external nominations from magazine subscribers, web visitors, social media following, clients and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination, all firms and individuals are obviously free to accept or decline if they so wish. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit additional supporting information. There is no obligation to complete and supply such material, we have found that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as do our research team.
Our dedicated research team will assess all information presented to them. The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or by the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment based on various criteria such as business performance, longevity, diversification, growth (either sustained or rapid), significant innovations, feedback from stakeholders etc.
Once winners are selected, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year. Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the APAC Insider website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.
We offer a range of promotional packages and items to APAC Insider award winners, these vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, trophies, content in our magazine and content on our website.
We encourage winners to publicly announce their win independently in order to gain maximum exposure. Announcements via company websites, blogs, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such a great achievement. If you have need of further advice on how to publicise your win, please feel free to get in touch.
Here is the place you will find detail of our award winners. All featured winners are included in our digital awards magazine published here on our website and distributed to the 160,000 circulation of APAC Insider. All winners are included in our winners’ directory which is held here on the website.
