For one, it can be difficult finding the right talent to compliment an existing team, but All in Gate Motors have managed to navigate this particular issue – and many others – through its cohesive team culture that prioritises collaboration. Over the last decade, this culture has been reinforced by partners Amy and Nelson, and reinforced through their effective twopillared approach. “Nelson has over 25 years in the industry and I come from an IT background,” Amy adds, before continuing to explain how the company was established. “We wanted to offer our services in the southern highlands and Sydney region, with the aim to deliver clientcentric expert services. Our systems are tried and tested so we know we are offering a high quality, reliable system. Experience defines All in Gate Motors, and differentiates us from any competitors. Nelson has been in the industry for so long he has years of experience in both residential and commercial gates. We also quote to specification and only sell products we would use ourselves.” Despite Nelson’s incredible experience in the industry, Amy and the company understand the importance of constant professional development and training. With this in mind, she moves onto the discuss how All in Gate Motors continues its pursuit towards perfection in the space. “Access control options are now very popular, and the industry continues to develop. We recently obtained our Master security licence for this reason so we can offer higher security access. These security options include keypads which can log which users have accessed a site and advise the client of what time and what gate was accessed.” Due to the foundation on which the company was established, it has now began to cultivate a strong internal team that utilises both Amy and Nelson’s strengths to outpace competitors. As aforementioned, niche industries come with their own challenges, and in this both prioritise the onboarding period and ongoing training when it comes to new talent. “Being family owned we want our employees to feel like the family. Communication and family are important to us and this is reflected in how we treat our employees. Trust and communication. As this is a niche market it is near impossible to hire someone with experience. So they have to be taught everything about the industry which can take quite a long time.” All in all, the next steps for the company are an organic progression of its current offerings, as Amy explains in her closing comments. “Our next step is to be fabricating our own gates in house.
