In 2017, the academy was conferred Education Institution of the Year by APAC Insider and earned 2 consecutive SBR National Business Awards in 2017/18 in the Education category for outstanding work in the region. Today, PSB hosts over 12,000 students from over 50 nationalities with its slate of certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate programmes every year. As the Future Academy, PSB understands the need to stay nimble and consistently adapt with changes to industry demand for skilled workers. Most recently, the academy responded to the threat of cyber terrorism and increase in cybercrime by developing programmes and offering certifications to fit the demand for specialists in network defence, with partners from industry like EC-Council and academia like Edith Cowan University. Seeking to continue to build upon its current success and grow even further, PSB has exciting plans for the future, including more collaborations within a variety of industries set to be announced later in the year. Additionally, as chair for the Singapore Association for Private Education (SAPE) this year, the academy also has plans to further unite its education industry peers and partners with more avenues for collaboration, and facilitate discussions that will uplift the industry for the good of both PSB’s students and their future employers. As Singapore works to cement its position as a regional node of technology, innovation and enterprise, the institution too aims to continue to develop the much needed human capital with its partners--as essential node for the development of skills-building and education for ASEAN and beyond.
