10 APAC / Issue 7 2018 , Established in 2013, Rainbow Station Early Education Centre is a centre based service, catering for 74 children per day, helping them develop and fulfil their potential. In addition to this, the organisation has a qualified cook, who prepares and create three nutritious meals on the premises daily. The organisation caters for children from the ages of six weeks to 12 years, from 6:00am to 18:00pm Monday to Friday all year. Fast forwarding a few years, in 2015, a second centre was opened, Sandcastles Early Education Centre located in Evans Head. Finding a new education and care service for a child can be a daunting task. At Rainbow Station Early Education Centre, their aim is to provide a secure and happy environment where children can develop their intellectual, social, emotional, physical and aesthetics skills to become competent and confident individuals. The team ensures that all the children at Rainbow Early Education Centre are celebrated, not only for who they today, but who they can become. Moving forward, Rainbow Station Early Education Centre already have plans to expand the organisation further in the Northern Rivers, to allow all children access to quality early childhood education.
