Subsequently, between 1983 to 1989, she practised in Dubai as a legal consultant with A R Hilal & Associates, Advocates & Legal Consultants, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Between 1989 to 1990, she practised independently as an Advocate in New Delhi, India. Again from 1990 to 1996, she again practised with A R Hilal & Associates, Advocates & Legal Consultants, Dubai, United Arab Emirates as a Legal Consultant. From 1997 to August 2002, Ramni Taneja practiced as a sole practitioner [Advocate] in New Delhi. From September 2002 till April 30, 2006, she was in charge of and headed the branch office of the Mumbai law firm, Little & Co., in New Delhi, India. Her own practice, Law Office of Ramni Taneja, began as of 8th August 2006.
