In its inaugural year, APAC-Insider is delighted to present the 2021 APAC Textile Awards designed to recognize and uplift the very best businesses that make up the celebrated APAC Textile industry!

APAC-Insider has carefully observed and researched the textile industry over the past 12-months, and we couldn’t be more excited to begin seeking out and rewarding the leading innovators and pioneers who make up this vibrantly diverse industry.

The APAC region makes up approximately 60% of the global population and has, for many years, dominated the production of textiles and materials. With clothing, decor and interior products being such a large part of our daily lives on a global basis, with its developed technology and sourcing availability, it is clear to see why the Asia Pacific remains a global leader for the design, production and distribution of some of the world’s finest textiles.

Unlike other awards programs, the 2021 APAC Textile Awards are judged solely on a merit basis, meaning that each and everyone of our nominees is offered a level playing field. We do not form our final decision based on company size nor annual turnover. This is because we believe that a business is not only represented by its numbers and that it is of vital importance to recognise the dedication and innovation that an organisation is able to demonstrate.

Taking part in the 2021 APAC Textile Awards is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business as a leading light within the textiles industry across the entire Asia Pacific Region. Here at APAC-Insider we firmly believe that third party recognition is one of the best ways to grow and develop a business, broaden your client reach and most importantly establish yourselves as key players within your field.

Furthermore, should you go on to achieve one of our prestigious accolades, we provide our winners with an exciting selection of promotional opportunities that we can explore together to ensure that news of your success reaches the eyes and ears of those who matter most to you and your business.

Our available options are specifically designed to assist your business in broadening your brands reach and are also a fantastic opportunity to reward your employees in turn boosting company morale!

In closing, if you own, are part of or would like to nominate a leading textile business then please complete the voting form. If you have any questions regarding participation or the awards process, then please contact awards coordinator Jessie Wilson using the contact details provided.

FAQ's
How long has APAC Insider been in circulation for?
APAC Insider has been in circulation since 2015 and has been building up an impressive reputation for its excellent look into the sectors it covers. The publication aims to serve the vast Asia-Pacific region, which is home to more than one third of the world’s biggest businesses including the likes of Toyota, Sony and Bank of China. APAC Insider is published by AI Global Media, a UK based publishing group launched in 2010.
Where did my nomination come from?
A company or individual can be nominated in various ways, including self-nomination, nominated by a third-party, or nomination by our in-house research team. In the interest of maintaining high response rates, we do not ask nominees to reveal their identity. The main ethos of our awards system is that your ability to succeed is not linked to the number of votes received, with the most pertinent belief behind this being that all awards will be received on merit. As a means of identifying spam votes and countering cyber-threats, we monitor the website for unusual behaviour.
What happens if I agree to be considered further?
As we look to keep maximum focus on relevant candidates, we ask all nominees to accept their position on the shortlist. This gives individuals complete control in their decision on whether they would like to move forward with the award. There is no cost for you to be added onto the shortlist or if you go on to win. Nominees who accept will then proceed to our internal vetting procedure. Nominees are given an opportunity to present their own data which gets considered alongside the information collated by our research team. Please note it can take up to 8 weeks for research to be completed.
Who selects the winners?
We employ an impartial panel of individuals to conduct all the research to a high standard, and our research team are well versed in fact-checking and mediation. At the helm we have a veteran academic leader with international academic and training experience. Our continued use of this panel plays a key part in enforcing APAC Insider’s stance that winners are not determined by popularity, but by their contributions to the sector.
Is there a winner’s ceremony?
While we appreciate everyone will want to celebrate their success, this can look different to all winners. Many of the awards are also open across various regions within the Asian Pacific, and therefore many separate events would need to be arranged. Alongside this thought, we believe in keeping a cost-effective marketing philosophy, and do not wish to add further expense to any business or individual. Our press announcements are made digitally, online and across our network to enforce our position as digital publishers. We aim to provide you with the tools (both digital and physical) to generate real-world value.
If I do win, what happens next?
There is a short press embargo in place where we ask winners to refrain from any public announcements, giving us the chance to prepare the different means of coverage we offer. During this period the program manager will liaise with you to agree on the most appropriate coverage for you. Our main feature takes the form of a digital magazine, but we also offer physical trophies, wall mounted plaques, digital certificates, web-based advertisements, and press releases. The range of options are aimed to make the awards tailor-made to each individual firm, regardless of budget.
Are there any costs involved?
All awards are at no cost to be nominated or to win. We do offer a variety of paid additional benefits for our winners, and these are entirely optional and merely supplementary to your award rather than essential. To demonstrate our commitment to no mandatory fees, all winners are offered a free of charge promotional package. Our company policy will always remain: regardless of budget, our clients should always be able to garner the full value of the award.
I have another question that isn’t listed here.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss the award in more depth, please connect with a dedicated awards coordinator using the contact details provided. They will be able to assist further and guide you through the process.

South East Asia Business Awards (2023)

APAC Insider is excited to announce the return of the South East Asia Business Awards! In 2023 this popular programme will now be in its fifth year, and we are looking forward to once again shining a spotlight on the key players and leading innovators working tirelessly across this dynamic region. Following a surge of industrialisation throughout the 1960s, South East Asian business has experienced substantial growth, leading to more than half of the region’s eleven countries ranking in the top fifty largest economies worldwide by 2022. While each country does have its own individual strengths and unique industry landscape that sets it apart amongst its neighbours, there are some common market trends that they share. Agriculture, Manufacturing, and Electronics are the most prominent sectors in virtually all nations of South East Asia. The region is a global export leader, with strong international trade connections for many commodities including food and fishery products, personal electronics, and motor vehicles. SMEs are also the dominant company size across most South East Asian countries, making up the majority of the workforce and contributing significantly to the GDP. More recently, South East Asia has become a hotspot for Digital Technology, with investment in the region’s tech companies hitting an all-time high in 2021. Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines are at the forefront of this digital revolution. Also currently experiencing a boom is the E-Commerce industry, which has seen huge advancements in recent years, and is now projected to become the biggest driver of growth within South East Asia up until 2025. When looked at country-by-country, corporate performance across the region is just as impressive. Indonesia ranks as the 16th highest GDP in the world and has recently joined an exclusive club of countries boasting trillion-dollar economies. Like Indonesia, Thailand’s economy has also demonstrated continued growth despite the challenging political climate the country often faces. Thailand is also the number one tourist destination of SEA, accommodating over ten million holidaymakers throughout the course of 2022. Malaysia’s large Construction sector is worth over $32b and has been rapidly expanding as a result of both government and private sector building projects. Vietnam is a central hub for Food production and exports, supplying agricultural and seafood products to a wide range of international markets. The expansion and diversification of SEA business over the past couple of decades has been truly remarkable, and APAC Insider is a fantastic platform for the leading companies and executives operating in this region to promote their services to a targeted audience of industry professionals. Winners within the South East Asia Business Awards 2023 will be determined via a thorough research and selection process based on merit and carried out by the dedicated team at APAC Insider. Those successful in the programme will be presented with a range of advertising tools to assist in promoting the award further. These include both physical and digital marketing items such as personalised logos and crystal trophies, as well as various editorial coverage options within our winners’ supplement, and placements on our website and across our other online channels. We have options to suit all budgetary requirements, so no matter how you are looking to feature, there is something for everyone! If you would like to put a business forward for consideration in the South East Asian Business Awards 2023, please don’t hesitate to submit a nomination today!

Australian Enterprise Awards (2024)

APAC Insider is excited to announce the return of the Australian Enterprise Awards for an eighth consecutive year! Australia represents nearly a quarter of our 105,000-strong circulation base, and so over the years we have been committed to shining a light on the very best of Australian business. Australia is known for its diverse and resilient economy, with the country experiencing an uninterrupted period of growth over the three decades prior to the COVID-19 outbreak of 2020. In the years following the pandemic, Australian industry has experienced various challenges but has been recovering at a quicker rate than many of the world’s other top economies. In fact, Australia currently ranks as the twelfth largest GDP worldwide, which it has achieved despite its much smaller population in comparison to the countries placing higher in the list. Australia’s economy generates over $4.5 trillion in output, with the Manufacturing sector being the biggest contributor to this at a fifteen percent share of total output. In terms of revenue, Banking and Finance is Australia’s biggest industry, generating over $360 billion in 2023. Today’s financial landscape is increasingly turbulent, with volatile inflation rates, stunted revenue growth, rising funding costs, and regulatory issues just a few of the challenges faced by the sector. These hurdles do, however, also present a lucrative opportunity to those who can adapt to changing customer demands and fulfil the latest technology and sustainability standards that are transforming the Finance industry. Technology and digital adoption are a major influence not just on Finance, but on multiple segments of the Australian business landscape. The Healthcare and Retail sectors are both evolving rapidly, with digitalisation at the core of this transformation. Companies who can effectively harness developments in automation, data analytics, and personalisation will improve their efficiencies, drive growth, and provide a more streamlined customer experience. A 2020 survey of CEOs by professional services group PwC showed that 73% of Australian CEOs view the speed of technological change as an obstacle to their business growth. This statistic reveals just how much a company can benefit if they are able to stay on top of this trend and implement digital technology into their operations ahead of their competition. Through the Australian Enterprise Awards 2024, APAC Insider will recognise the key players driving innovation across the variety of sectors that make up Australia’s dynamic business market. We consider submissions from large organisations and SMEs, at company and individual level, and use a strict merit-based approach to assess all nominees. Those successful in the programme will be provided with a free-of-charge marketing toolkit to celebrate their award. As well as this, APAC Insider also offers the chance to upgrade to one of our bespoke commercial packages, for those really looking to get the most out of their success. These include extended coverage in the dedicated Australian Enterprise Awards supplement, as well as a range of physical and digital winners’ items designed to maximise the promotional benefits of inclusion. If you would like to submit yourself or a deserving candidate you know for consideration in the Australian Enterprise Awards 2024, simply click the ‘Vote Now’ button and follow the instructions provided. We wish all those taking part the best of luck this year!

Legal Awards (2023)

APAC Insider’s longstanding and extremely popular annual legal awards programme returns! The APAC Legal Awards 2023 will honour top legal talent in the Asia Pacific region, bringing recognition to those whose knowledge, skill and innovation distinguishes them from the competition. The Asia Pacific region is quickly becoming a region of high growth for law firms, due to abundant investment and funding potential, as well as high activity in sectors for which legal services are imperative. Initiatives such as ASEAN’s* promotion of sustainable infrastructure are driving development and increasing the need for legal services relating to infrastructure deals or projects in Asia. In addition to these factors, cross-border trade in Asia Pacific is expected to see improvement and growth throughout 2023. The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership coming into effect in 2022 has encouraged cross-border trade in Asia Pacific. Methodology

Our process for choosing winners has been tried, tested, and refined over the years. Our team of skilled researchers use precise methods to fact-check and investigate all nominees.

Researching APAC Insider nominees

The team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. We also encourage external nominations from magazine subscribers, web visitors, social media following, clients, and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.

Shortlisting our nominees

All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination via email, and all firms and individuals are obviously free to accept or decline if they so wish. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit additional supporting information. There is no obligation to complete and supply such material, we have found that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as do our research team.

Evaluating nominees

Our dedicated research team will assess all information presented to them. From there, the team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or by the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment based on various criteria such as business performance, longevity, diversification, growth (either sustained or rapid), significant innovations, feedback from stakeholders etc.

Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the APAC Insider website, award winners’ magazine, social media platforms, and subscriber newsletter.
