APAC Insider is excited to announce that our prestigious Business Awards are returning for the eighth consecutive year in 2023! This large and diverse region is home to over half of the world’s population and is expected to become the largest consumer market within the next two decades. This has positioned Asia Pacific as a growing hub for international business – with a thriving technology sector, a world-class workforce, and a fast-paced and innovative corporate landscape.

Here at APAC Insider, we plan to recognise the leading companies and individuals who are at the cutting-edge of their chosen industries, who are responsible for driving growth and advancement across the APAC region.

Despite current global financial slowdown, Asia Pacific’s economy remains robust, with growth expected to continue throughout 2023. Following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in China, mobility and consumer activity has increased rapidly, having a positive ripple effect on neighbouring countries throughout the region.

In addition to consistent economic growth, for those looking to do business in Asia Pacific the region also offers favourable tax rates, investment incentives, and a heavily populated and talented workforce to take advantage of. It is no surprise then that many global business leaders are now looking to APAC as a lucrative destination for expansion. In fact, many APAC countries are recognised among the world’s best places to do business, with Singapore, South Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong consistently ranking as some of the highest.

The large economies of India and China are considered major drivers of growth not just within Asia Pacific, but also across international markets. Hong Kong continues to maintain its position as the world’s leading financial hub, and the ‘middle economies’ of countries such as Thailand and Indonesia are expanding at impressive rates. The rising influence of APAC business on the world stage can be partly attributed to the digital revolution currently taking place across the region. Over the last decade, increasing connectivity, better internet access, and sustained income growth of consumers have combined to make Asia Pacific world leaders for the modern digital age.

The team at APAC Insider will consider all of these factors when determining our winners for the Business Awards 2023, ensuring that only the most innovative and hard-working companies go on to be successful. Our unbiased research and selection process allows equal opportunity for businesses of all sizes and industry categories to be recognised in the programme, from SMEs and sole traders all the way to international corporations!

Appearing in the Business Awards 2023 offers many promotional benefits, as winners will have the chance to advertise their products and services to a targeted circulation of key professionals across the Asia Pacific region. Whether you are looking to increase your brand awareness, boost staff morale, gain notoriety in your specialist field, or expand your consumer base, APAC Insider provides a fantastic platform to market yourself and your business! With both commercial advertising packages and free-of-charge celebratory options available, the Business Awards 2023 truly offers something for everyone!

FAQ's
How long has APAC Insider been in circulation for?
APAC Insider has been in circulation since 2015 and has been building up an impressive reputation for its excellent look into the sectors it covers. The publication aims to serve the vast Asia-Pacific region, which is home to more than one third of the world’s biggest businesses including the likes of Toyota, Sony and Bank of China. APAC Insider is published by AI Global Media, a UK based publishing group launched in 2010.
Where did my nomination come from?
A company or individual can be nominated in various ways, including self-nomination, nominated by a third-party, or nomination by our in-house research team. In the interest of maintaining high response rates, we do not ask nominees to reveal their identity. The main ethos of our awards system is that your ability to succeed is not linked to the number of votes received, with the most pertinent belief behind this being that all awards will be received on merit. As a means of identifying spam votes and countering cyber-threats, we monitor the website for unusual behaviour.
What happens if I agree to be considered further?
As we look to keep maximum focus on relevant candidates, we ask all nominees to accept their position on the shortlist. This gives individuals complete control in their decision on whether they would like to move forward with the award. There is no cost for you to be added onto the shortlist or if you go on to win. Nominees who accept will then proceed to our internal vetting procedure. Nominees are given an opportunity to present their own data which gets considered alongside the information collated by our research team. Please note it can take up to 8 weeks for research to be completed.
Who selects the winners?
We employ an impartial panel of individuals to conduct all the research to a high standard, and our research team are well versed in fact-checking and mediation. At the helm we have a veteran academic leader with international academic and training experience. Our continued use of this panel plays a key part in enforcing APAC Insider’s stance that winners are not determined by popularity, but by their contributions to the sector.
Is there a winner’s ceremony?
While we appreciate everyone will want to celebrate their success, this can look different to all winners. Many of the awards are also open across various regions within the Asian Pacific, and therefore many separate events would need to be arranged. Alongside this thought, we believe in keeping a cost-effective marketing philosophy, and do not wish to add further expense to any business or individual. Our press announcements are made digitally, online and across our network to enforce our position as digital publishers. We aim to provide you with the tools (both digital and physical) to generate real-world value.
If I do win, what happens next?
There is a short press embargo in place where we ask winners to refrain from any public announcements, giving us the chance to prepare the different means of coverage we offer. During this period the program manager will liaise with you to agree on the most appropriate coverage for you. Our main feature takes the form of a digital magazine, but we also offer physical trophies, wall mounted plaques, digital certificates, web-based advertisements, and press releases. The range of options are aimed to make the awards tailor-made to each individual firm, regardless of budget.
Are there any costs involved?
All awards are at no cost to be nominated or to win. We do offer a variety of paid additional benefits for our winners, and these are entirely optional and merely supplementary to your award rather than essential. To demonstrate our commitment to no mandatory fees, all winners are offered a free of charge promotional package. Our company policy will always remain: regardless of budget, our clients should always be able to garner the full value of the award.
I have another question that isn’t listed here.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss the award in more depth, please connect with a dedicated awards coordinator using the contact details provided. They will be able to assist further and guide you through the process.

Australian Made Awards (2023)

We are pleased to announce that, after a very successful first instalment, the Australian Made Awards 2023 are returning once again! Organised by APAC Insider, a leading brand that covers the latest news, insights, and trends in the Asia-Pacific region, the awards celebrate the excellence, creativity, and resilience of Australian businesses across the production and manufacturing industries. By entering the Australian Made Awards 2023, you will be able to showcase your products and services to a regional audience of industry professionals. These awards are the perfect opportunity for you to gain recognition and credibility for your hard work and achievements in the manufacturing and production industries in Australia. The manufacturing and production industries in Australia are facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities in 2023. The global pandemic, trade tensions, environmental & geopolitical issues, digital transformation, and changing consumer preferences are reshaping the landscape and creating new demands and expectations. The entire APAC region is continuing its impressive rebound from the effect of global lockdowns. While only 6.8% of Australia’s population is employed in manufacturing, it looks poised to see positive flow-on effects from the surging APAC region. Ongoing market instabilities will drive more than half of Australian businesses to bring back overseas manufacturing jobs to Australia in high volumes. To succeed in this dynamic environment, Australian businesses need to adapt, innovate, and differentiate themselves from the competition. That’s why APAC Insider is honouring the best of the best in the Australian manufacturing and production scene with the Australian Made Awards 2023. The awards process is straightforward; alongside nominations, we have our dedicated in-house research team that analyse businesses they think deserve to be recognised for their achievements. Using this method means that, regardless of industry or size, businesses can be judged on a level-playing ground. This awards programme is completely free to enter and if your firm is lucky enough to be successful, you will be presented to our circulation of 105,000 and promoted on our official website for a minimum of 12 months. In addition, our awardees are welcome to choose from our range of competitively priced promotional opportunities to increase exposure of the good news! If you would like to nominate yourselves, or indeed another business you feel is worthy, then please click on the ‘Vote Now’ button above. Alternatively, if you would like further information about how the Australian Made Awards 2023 can benefit your organisation, please feel free to contact the awards team via email.

Now in its ninth year, this prestigious awards programme celebrates pioneering achievements and exceptional contributions to the Legal Industry. Despite facing unprecedented challenges in recent years, the Legal Industry has showcased remarkable resilience and has begun to bounce back from adversities. Whether navigating through economic downturns, global crises, or disruptive technological advancements, legal firms have demonstrated agility and adaptability in responding to evolving market dynamics. The APAC Legal Industry is witnessing unprecedented growth and competition as startups and mid-level firms emerge as formidable competitors to established players. In this dynamic environment, it is essential for legal firms to stand out with confidence and demonstrate their continued successes and best practices to maintain their competitive edge and sustain growth. The Legal Industry has undergone a significant transformation with the adoption of technology, ushering in a new era of legal practice. However, while the integration of technology into the legal domain has brought about several benefits, it also presents several challenges. One of the primary concerns is the potential for inherent bias and a lack of empathy. Despite these concerns, LegalTech remains a crucial development for the industry. While technology presents challenges such as the risk of dehumanising legal practices, its benefits cannot be overstated: it is revolutionising the industry. It plays a vital role in promoting social justice, facilitating pro bono work, and enhancing the efficiency of legal services. Legal practitioners can harness its transformative potential to advance the cause of justice and empower underrepresented communities by embracing technology responsibly and ethically. As the Legal Industry undergoes profound transformation driven by technological advancements, globalisation, and changing client expectations, the imperative for legal practitioners is clear: embrace innovation or risk becoming obsolete. Legal firms that embrace change, cultivate a culture of innovation, and invest in talent and technology will not only survive but thrive in the evolving legal marketplace. The legal landscape is on the precipice of great change. Participating in the APAC Legal Awards 2024 provides a unique opportunity for your organisation to showcase its achievements, successes, and best practices on a global platform. Regardless of whether you operate within corporate law, family law, commercial law, or any other legal field, these awards serve as an ideal platform to exhibit your accomplishments. Our process for choosing winners has been tried, tested, and refined over the years. Our team of skilled researchers use precise methods to fact-check and investigate all nominees.

Researching APAC Insider nominees

The team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.

Shortlisting our nominees

All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination via email, and all firms and individuals are obviously free to accept or decline if they so wish. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit additional supporting information. There is no obligation to complete and supply such material, we have found that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as do our research team.

Evaluating nominees

Our dedicated research team will assess all information presented to them. From there, the team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or by the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment based on various criteria such as business performance, longevity, diversification, growth (either sustained or rapid), significant innovations, feedback from stakeholders etc.
