Social Tables Expands Cloud-based Event and Hospitality Planning into Europe and Asia

Social Tables, a company recently celebrated in Washington, D.C., as an example of how technology should grow in the nation’s capital, is now taking its unique cloud-based event and hospitality planning approach to Europe and Asia. Global growth expert Radius is helping the company get started by establishing new operations in Singapore and the UK.

We have a loyal and rapidly growing base of customers who are successfully planning their events across multiple countries and continents,” said Scott Sehon, vice president of finance for Social Tables. “The clear next step in our growth strategy is to have boots on the ground overseas to continue to build momentum with our brand and better support customers.”

More than 100,000 users rely on Social Tables’ desktop and mobile product line, which includes Social Tables On-Site, an online sales and marketing solution; 2D and 3D room diagramming; business intelligence for hotels; and event attendee management. Large hospitality customers include Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and the Langham Hospitality Group. Radius helped Social Tables establish legal entities in Singapore and the UK, and is now providing ongoing services and advice in those countries related to HR obligations, payroll, payroll compliance, corporate governance, cash management and more.

“Social Tables has created something truly unique, and now it has an opportunity to rapidly capture market share outside the US,” said Jeff Lynch, chief client success officer for Radius. “We’re pleased that Social Tables has placed its confidence in our people, services and software and we look forward to helping them successfully land and expand in Europe and Asia.”
